Pressies to self

Well I decided I had to get myself a couple of presents, no reason other than I saw them and wanted them lol, no I ‘needed’ them haha, well my dolls house dolls wanted then and they forced my hand really... honest!  Anyhoo, I wanted a wicker chair and although I had toyed with the idea of making one myself, I haven’t done that much weaving and I thought about all the trial and error bit and all the time taken up making mistakes trying to perfect it etc and then I came across something... it was the very chair, in the exact shape that I had envisaged in my head... I had to have it!! Better than that, suddenly the artist, Wendy tells me she is going to throw in a couple of extra free gifts... WOW! This is getting better and better.  The chair arrived a short time later and I was so pleased with it, it was far better than I could have ever made, it was truly beautiful and I LOVE it sooooo much!  Here is a picture.
I love this!!!

Next, I saw something else I really, really wanted, well I had been looking, better still I had found some but just couldn’t find any that were actually for sale.  I got my better half on the case and between us, well not so much us as I have to admit defeat here lol, but my other half came up with the goods and not just one but several different types, all end of line things and seemingly very difficult to get hold of.  Anyway I bought three and here is a picture of one of them...

Yes it’s a little 1/12th scale bike with LOADS of details.  Love it!! Anyway I’m a happy bunny today because it’s always nice to get minis that you haven’t had to slave over, rather like when someone else cooks dinner and it tastes better I guess.
Right back to it, just completing my second pushchair then I’ll pop up more pix.

Miniature 1/12th scale Highchair/Swing

Just a quick picture to show you the little highchair I made, it turns into a swing.  It has a removable tray and half harness.  I guess next time I make one I should think about making it also turn into a low chair with tray... but that's another project lol.
Today seems me spending time working on my web, lots and lots to do here but hopefully it will be up and running in a couple of months.  I'll let you know when it is.
Next week I'm making more pushchairs with rain covers and foot-muffs and they will be placed up for sale.  Not chosen all the colours yet so let me know if you'd like one making up in the colours of your choice.
Thanks for all the lovely messages you send me.

Retro Record Player in Miniature 1/12th scale

Hello again,

This week sees me making all those little extra’s that will bring my thatch cottage to life.  I made a retro record player, a set of garden furniture and a tiny, wearable coat.  The coat I made when I couldn’t sleep one night so I got up and spent my time wisely lol and somehow my project came together well and I’m pleased with it.  The little set of garden furniture I made because I couldn’t find what I wanted so I set about creating this and it suites my cottage very well.  The little retro record player has to be one of my favourite minis because I made it with an opening/closing lid, a moving turn table and both arms move (one moves in two directions – just like the real thing) and the records can be changed too.  Hope you like the pictures below.

Much love and big mini hugs

Well here it is at last, the finished pram.  As you can see it’s a shiny red twin carriage pram in 1/12th scale with moving hoods, moving wheels, removable red apron, detailed handle, and shopping tray.  The pram is fully lined and the carriage is also padded and it comes complete with two lace trimmed pillows and a quilt.
